As a first-generation Vietnamese American Cook and Content Creator, my culinary journey began long before I realized it. Growing up, I was mesmerized by my mother’s ability to transform simple ingredients into meals that sustained our family. From selling rice plates as a street vendor in Vietnam to orchestrating family gatherings, she has always been my greatest inspiration—the heartbeat behind my passion for cooking.
Driven by a deep curiosity for the art of food, I pursued formal training in culinary school and had the privilege of honing my craft in some of the finest kitchens across the country. However, my professional path took an unexpected turn at the onset of the pandemic, when I lost my kitchen job. With time on my hands and a desire to stay connected to the culinary world, I began filming and sharing my recipes on social media in 2020. What started as a creative outlet quickly blossomed into a vibrant community of passionate food lovers, all brought together by a shared love for flavor and culture.
My goal with House of Nguyen is to build a community of like-minded individuals who share a passion for cooking and discovering new recipes together.
